Fancy a “Material Jam”? Recreating small-scale sets, creating a collage of theater characters or themes, or making the beginnings of props or costumes—there are no limits to what you can do in the materials workshop.

The hands-on station is an open workshop format and the mobile version of a plastic recycling workshop.
With this setup, it’s possible to travel to neighborhood festivals, educational institutions, action days, markets, and events with moderate effort.
The goal is to get people excited about plastic recycling without requiring extensive prior knowledge and to help them connect with environmental issues through hands-on activities.
At various stations, participants learn how plastics are recycled and produced and what to look out for in the process.
Participants are guided through each station and introduced to plastic recycling and how to operate the machines. The highlight is that at the end, everyone gets to take a recycled product home.
