After celebrating our camp party with you last year, the format is going into the next round: On May 2, 2026, we invite you to the Rosenwerk from 2 p.m. to midnight.
This year's theme is "Game Edition " - playing with materials, spaces and ideas. Together with the Nytt Materialdepot gUG and Zündstoffe Materialvermittlung (Konglomerat e.V.), we are celebrating the diversity of material cycles, workshops and neighborhood culture in Dresden.
HOW TO FIND US
The Rosenwerk(Jagdweg 1-3, 01159 Dresden) is easy to reach:
S-Bahn: Freiberger Straße
Tram: Florastraße
From both stops it is about 5 minutes on foot and if you come by bike it is not far either.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT
The campfire is open and low-threshold - come along when and how it suits you. Food and drink will be provided.
Admission is free. However, we are very happy to receive donations to make the event possible in the future.
Supported by the Altstadt district advisory council of the state capital Dresden.
The doors open at 2 p.m. - and then it's time to play, build and try things out.
There are open formats, music from the box and lots of opportunities to get active yourself in all of the association's rooms.
Our specialty workshops will run from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. - from handicraft activities to playful interventions with ReUse materials. More information will follow. At the same time, the material initiatives will be on site to provide insights into their work.
The evening program a la MatIni Style starts at 19:00. As in previous years, we are well positioned here too and will be going one better.

When: 14:00 - 15:30
We will show you how to embroider motifs using a USB stick on a domestic sewing machine. Whether you want to creatively close holes or make your own patches - anything is possible. If you bring a laptop and USB stick, we can also develop individual motifs. Basic knowledge of vector editing is helpful.
When: 14:30 - 16:00
Sticking is better with manual work. Together we will print stickers to take home and distribute. Do you have an old T-shirt? Bring it along and we'll give it a second life with Zündstoff motifs.
When: 16:00 - 18:00
Here we print and bind. We experiment with RISO printing and make small pads or notebooks. Just come along and have a look.
When: 17:00 - 19:00
Bridge building without nails and screws. Inspired by Da Vinci, we build load-bearing structures and test what works. If you like, you can also saw, plane and sand yourself.
When: 15:30 - 17:00
From digital design to finished wooden game: We will show you the process using the example of Kalaha. Watching, asking questions and trying it out yourself at the end is expressly encouraged.
The workshops are open and low-threshold. We are happy to receive donations that go directly towards material costs and association work. It is best to discuss this directly with the respective workshop leaders on site.
In addition to workshops, there will be a musical and cultural program in the evening:
In addition to the regular program you can expect some extras:
ALLTIME SUPPORT: Irrlicht ( @ irrlichtt), FOR:UM (@ for.umwandlung), SudGut
A detailed overview of the event day at the entrance.
Once again this year, there will be a whole range of hands-on activities from our work areas. The focus is on trying things out, making things yourself and learning together - come along, take a look or join in directly.
Most workshops start at 2:30 p.m. at the earliest and run into the afternoon. Depending on the number of participants and their interest, times can also be spontaneously postponed or extended.
When: 14:30 - 19:00
Here we solder for all we're worth. Together we will build little bugs and play cubes from electronic components. You will receive a short introduction and can then get started straight away - even without any previous knowledge. One session takes about 20-30 minutes. You can take what you have built with you.
