After filmmaker Telemach Wiesinger and Jan had several lab-tech-stuff exchanges , Telemach came over and showed a few of his films at the VHC at the end of April. The DRKRM says thank you to Telemach and the Neue Volkshaus Cotta!
at the media culture center at Jugend Hackt. They took part in the laser and 3D printing area and were thrilled. Together with the young people, a small mini makerspace was set up and supervised over the weekend so that they could realize their ideas and prototypes. The kids were extremely motivated and eager to learn. Under the motto #hacking4future, they spent the whole day printing, laser-cutting and soldering.

For the fourth time, the Dresden association Metaknoten e.V. is organizing the DIWO Week - a workshop festival that focuses on the collaborative idea of Do It With Others (DIWO). From 12.05.2025 to 18.05.2025, veränderbar in Dresden's Neustadt district will be transformed into a temporary makerspace where artists, media makers and DIY enthusiasts will come together.
This year's overarching theme: "Collective spaces as a necessity for creativity and innovation".
This week the time has finally come! Our big LAGERSAUSE in the join-in version is taking place! Grab your friends and family and come by on Friday 09.05. between 16-24 o'clock.
Together with the IfM, various Inis and local authorities, we have spent the last two years developing a roadmap, tools and vision for the establishment and consolidation of material initiatives. In over 100 pages, the publication highlights how the circular economy is shaped and lived through material initiatives.
Now the time has come:
At the beginning of May, we will hold the freshly printed copies of "GEMEINSAM KREISLAUFEN - Roadmap zum zentralen Materialdepot" in our hands!

And an old Konglohase called Anna is on the board. Congratulations! We are delighted and wish the association every success in its work. |
| Because on May 17 and 18, our Putzival traditionally takes place for the ESC final. Together we clean the workshops spick and span! This is a great opportunity for long-standing club members and newcomers to help shape the club and see some faces again. So grab your rags and let's go! Incidentally, the Putzival has made it into the model language of commoning by Silke Helfrich and Davis Bolier as an example. The SLUB Makerspace is 10 years old this year. Time to look back and forward! As the SLUB Makerspace team, we would like to do this together with you. We cordially invite you to a small anniversary program in May.
The motto is: "10 years SLUB Makerspace: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" on the website you can get an insight into the program and register for one or the other workshop.
